Seaforth highlanders Patron's Corps

Formed over 20 years ago, the men and women of the Seaforth Highlanders Patron's Corps, through an initial donation and optional annual donations provide financial and moral support to the Regiment.

The Patrons assist in raising funds to support and grow the Cadet Corps, Pipes & Drums, as well as assist the Regiment in the preservation of its history, heritage and tradition. Non military expenses such as the website and public relations depend on the support of the Patrons. Most recently, the Patrons have funded the purchase of kilts for the cadets. Funds raised over the next year will go to support members of the Unit on the April 2017 Seaforth tour to commemorate the centennial of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.

Patrons are encouraged to attend all Seaforth activities such as the Vimy and Ortona dinners as well other functions planned in the Officers Mess. The affiliation with the Navy Frigate HMCS VANCOUVER provides opportunities to associate with the “Senior Service” with activities such as day sails.

Patrons also have the opportunity, where possible, to view training exercises and visit the firing range.

As valued members of Regimental family, the Patrons play a very important role. Their names have a place of honour in the Armoury.

Patrons are supporters who donate $2,500 to the Patrons Corps. They are encouraged to continue their support with annual giving of $200 or more.
