Bolt for Russian Moisin-Nagent M1891 rifle, dated 1907. Serial# 11354. Calibre: 7.62 x 54R Sporterized stock BUT this one has the name LECKIE carved into the stock. He was a Seaforth officer assigned to command the Allied Intervention in Russia troops at Murmansk in 1919. Likely a souvenir from him. Possibly the Model 1907 Carbine which was produced in small numbers. It did not take a bayonet and was issued to cavalrymen, engineers, gunners and signalmen.
