Medical Leg Brace

War veteran's medical Leg Brace from the SHC Medical Office. It was donated by Lt Hinch in Nov. 1972 The splint or brace is made of metal bars and leather straps; a padded ring fit snugly round the patient's upper thigh. The bars go all the way down the leg and under the patient's shoe. There are supposed to be leather straps that keep the leg between the metal bars. The patient would need canes to walk with the brace.
