United Nations cap with French "ONU"
United Nations cap with French "ONU" (Organisation des Etats-Unis) badge, worn by donor Captain Gordon Croucher, in Canadian Forces Peacekeeping missions in Cyprus and the Gaza Strip (Egypt) in the 1960s and 1970s. Capt Croucher was the photographer at BC District Headquarters at the Jericho Garrison in the 1970s.
There is a note on a piece of cardboard which states: "Letter french [sic] abbreviation for use in Congo. Worn in Cyprus and Egypt 1950's [crossed out] 1960s".
The back of this card states: "Part of trade for SN Enfield [btb Snider-Enfield carbine]. Capt. G. Croucher" .
