Razor Case (Camillus Cutlery)
One of the two piece case made by Camillus Cutlery Co. USA from WW I Case marked "CAMILLUS CUTLERY CO. NEW YORK U.S.A. GUARANTEED."
The Camillus Cutlery Company was one of the oldest knife manufacturers in the United States as its roots date back to 1876. The Company produced millions of knives until it filed for bankruptcy in 2007 due to fierce overseas competition. During World War I, Camillus shifted production to support the Allied forces. The company also manufactured marlin spikes, surgical scalpels, and a folding knife/spoon combination for the Red Cross in those years.
