1905 Pattern British Infantry Sergeant's Solid Hilt Sword with a Edward VII crown & cipher. It is in good condition but without a scabbard. Following the failure of British swords in the Boer War, the 1905 Pattern for sergeants was a strengthened version of the 1897 Pattern but with a solid hilt (the tang was large and riveted into / forms part of the grip) plus a slightly curved blade.
