Banner (flag) from Ortona "Ortona", WW II, It is 3'1" x 2'3". It has three vertical stripes, left-green, centre-cream, right-red. [The colours of the Italian flag]. The Centre panel is embroidered from top down-A crown, blue shield with a white cross on gold field, under is "R. Scuola; Tecnica Prof. E. and under that "Ortona A Mare". Note the words under R. Scola are missing. A note in the 1985-1987 registar states: "Dry Cleaner refused to process."
