"A Soldier's Diary with the compliments of the Bank of Montreal" for Lieut C.G. McLean 13th CMG Co. (Canadian Machinegun Company) 1st Div" for 1917.
Entries by Lieut McLean until Feb 28, 1918. Donor made the notation that her father was killed in action on 7 [sic 9 April according to the CWGC] April, 1918.
NOTES: The 1917 diary appears to have been used for 1917 (or both years though this is unlikely). Lt. McLean may have been posted to the 7th Canadian Infantry Battalion in February, 1918. Moth damage to right rear corner.
