FOUNDATIONS OF THE 72nd REGIMENT, 1910-1914

Fondation du 72e régiment, 1910-1914

72nd Hldrs of C Pipes & Drums, Military band and Regt church parade, 1912-13.

72nd Highlanders of Canada Pipes and Drums, Military Band and Regiment. The event was probably a church parade, circa 1912 - 1913. They are wearing full dress scarlets. In the background a sign states: "National Publicity Bureau" and a church spire. The troops are dressed in full review order with scarlet tunics but without arms. The Greater Vancouver Publicity Bureau was a forerunner of Tourism Vancouver.
