Cap Badge - The Hertfordshire Regiment

Cap Badge - The Hertfordshire Regiment This badge was sold by Jim Purdy for $50.00 on e-Bay in the Spring/Summer of 2017. This badge was deemed irrelevant to the museum. The money was used to purchase relevant badges for the collection. The Hertfordshire Regiment was a Territorial Army infantry regiment of the British Army. Originating in units of Rifle Volunteers formed in 1859, the regiment served in the Second Anglo-Boer War and the First and Second World Wars before losing its separate identity in 1961. Its lineage is continued today by the Royal Anglian Regiment.
