Cap Badge - 1st King Edwards Horse, King's Overseas Dominion Regiment
This badge was sold by Jim Purdy for $25.00 on e-Bay in the Spring/Summer of 2017. This badge was deemed irrelevant to the museum. The money was used to purchase relevant badges for the collection.
The King Edward's Horse badges are in brass or gilding metal (and not whitemetal) and have sliders, the 2nd KEH is a little different and has a "2nd" under the crown and different scrolls and 1914 at the bottom. The Crowned Lion is removed from the King's Crown. There are KEH collars in brass with 2 North - South lugs, the shoulder title is KEH over KODR there is also a 2/KEH shoulder title for 2nd KEH.
