FOUNDATIONS OF THE 72nd REGIMENT, 1910-1914

Fondation du 72e régiment, 1910-1914

Seaforth brass band in front of the Beatty Street Drill Hall, 1912

Seaforth Highlanders of Canada brass band in front of the Beatty Street Drill Hall. The photo is allegedly from 1912, but not known how dated. It may be from the church parade of 1 April, 1912. They are dressed in khaki tunics, kilts, hair sporrans and glengarries. To the left of the photo is Bandmaster Henry Slatter, formerly of the Grenadier Guards and 7th Royal Fusiliers.
