Officers of the Irish Fusiliers of Canada 1930.

Officers of the Irish Fusiliers of Canada 1930. The Irish Fusiliers of Canada (The Vancouver Regiment) was an infantry regiment of the Canadian Army during the 20th Century. The 11th Regiment (Irish Fusiliers of Canada) was organized in 1913 and combined with the Vancouver Regiment in 1936 to form the Irish Fusiliers of Canada (Vancouver Regiment). In 1946 the Regiment became the 65th Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment (Irish Fusiliers), but in 1958 was amalgamated with the 120th Independent Field Battery, reverting to the name Irish Fusiliers of Canada (Vancouver Regiment). It was reduced to nil strength in 1965 and added to the Supplementary Order of Battle, then removed from the S.O.B. in 2002 to be amalgamated into the BCR.
