"Troops embarking railway station 1939". It is not known where the photo was taken. Some of the men are wearing fur caps. Double numbering as it is was listed as World War I Company formal portrait photo at Hastings Park, 1916. It is possibly the 29th "Tobin's Tigers" Battalion but the 29th left Canada in May 1915. Possibly they are reinforcements. The 72nd Battalion were at Hastings Park in 1916 and left for the front in April 1916. One officer may be a Seaforth. Remainder of men appear to be Irish (not sporrans of men in front.)]
