Seaforth Family Picnic on Bowen Island, BC, 14 August, 1949. There are five copies of the same photo. The Seaforths held regular family days there from the 1920s to the 1950s.
Bowen Island is an island municipality in Howe Sound, in the Greater Vancouver Regional District, and is an island included within the jurisdiction of the Islands Trust. Approximately 6 km wide by 12 km long, the island at its closest point is about 3 km west of the mainland.
