Pattern 1937 L strap for right shoulder. Shoulder Strap Both the haversack and the large pack had a set of web pack straps. It was found attached to 2007.153.001 (Pattern 1937 small pack)
The Strap, shoulder, haversack, W.E. Patt. 37,right, was introduced with Web Equipment, Pattern 1937, by List of Changes L. of C. §B1623, dated 8 June 1938. Haversack straps are often referred to as "L-straps".
