Seaforths marching north across the Burrard Street Bridge on 16 September 1939
Seaforths marching north across the Burrard Street Bridge on 16 September 1939. Some men are in civilian clothing. This may be a recruiting parade.
The photo was published in the Vancouver Daily Province on September 16, 1939 (10 days after war was declared by Canada). The Seaforths needed only 100 men to bring the REgiment up to strength..
