Frog, white buff leather. British issue. Marked on back in black: "PO.18457 J. (?) J. JERRED" (i.e. number and name of soldier). Back also stamped with issue marked "D 2 14"
This Slade-Wallace Pattern issued in 1888 for the first Lee-Enfield .303 rifles. No history known by donor.
