HIGHLAND DRESS AND INSIGNIA

ROBES ET INSIGNES DES HIGHLANDS

Other Ranks MacKenzie (Seaforth) kilt

Other Ranks MacKenzie (Seaforth) tartan kilt with two buckles. There are remains of a British style paper label. Appears to be World War I period. It could have been either a 16th Battalion or 72nd Battalion, CEF issue. No history for the kilt. Anonymous drop-off to Ashton Garrison Museum (11th Service Battalion), Victoria, BC. The kilt was transferred to the SHCMA in February, 2011. Some moth holes in the material.
