WW I & WW II Medal Group - Major Douglas McNaught Johnstone DCM, ED Seaforth Highlanders of Canada (1921-1947) and for service with the 16th Battalion (Canadian Scottish) CEF in WW I (1914-1919) and during WW II. The medals include: Distinguished Conduct Medal (George V), 1914-15 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal, Canadian Voluntary Service Medal, War Medal, 1939-1945, George VI Coronation Medal (1937), Volunteer Long Service Medal, Efficiency Medal. These medals are in the Museum collection (1985.004.001). They are swing mounted on a black background and were in the Museum's medal cabinet. They were later court mounted. In the photo some other medals are partially shown, in particular the medals of Pte Maguire, MM, 72nd Bn CEF, CQMS Hughes, SHC and K52478 RSM McMahon, SHC. On rear: "SHC 93".
