Spike Bayonet with scabbard and frog

Enfield No. 4 Mk II Spike (smooth shank) bayonet with scabbard and frog. The most common type of No. 4 type bayonet. The spike is a sharpened rod with the milled flute having been omitted to simplify production. It was approved in 1941. The spike bayonet was made by Singer and several other contractors in the UK as well as Savage Arms in the USA and Long Branch (Toronto) in Canada.
