SEAFORTHS IN WORLD WAR II
SEAFORTHS PENDANT LA DEUXIÈME GUERRE MONDIALE
Pte Eade as part of "The Terrible Six"
Pte Eade as part of "The Terrible Six". It is unknown if it was taken in England or Italy.
The photo belonged to Cpl J.H. EADE, #K52471 who was later in the Intelligence Section of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada in World War II. Henry Eade enlisted on 18 September, 1939 and left the Seaforths on 23 July 1944. He was wounded on 29 March, 1943 during an air raid on Brighton where his wife and son were killed.
The artifact was loaned to the Museum by James Eade. It was scanned and then returned to him.
