Paybook (Green) - Pte Torry Estabrooks Purdy, # 1031320, 72nd Battalion, CEF. This appears to have been his original paybook. Most of the pages are blank. Some of the information was transferred to his red paybook. He had originally enlisted with the 236th (McLean's Kilties) Battalion, CEF as he was originally from Amherst, Nova Scotia. Purdy arrived in France on 8 March 1918. He was wounded on 30 March, 1918 and again on 11 August, 1918. The artifact was loaned to the Museum. It was scanned and then returned to the donor.
