Cdn 1951 Pattern Bayonet Frog. The WE'51 Bayonet Frog was similar to that issued with WE'37 but the web material was dark green rather than khaki. During the service life of WE'51 two patterns of bayonet were issued, the No4 (spike) for the No.4 Lee Enfield Rifle and the C1 for the FN C1 Rifle. Both patterns of bayonet scabbard fit the WE'51 frog nicely, needing no modification. The C1 bayonet for the FN C1 rifle adopted in 1955.
