Karlovacko Beer (Yugoslavia)

Karlovacko Beer (Yugoslavia) that was issued to the troops after the Battle of the Medal Pocket, 1994. Capt. MacDonald has the full story. Karlovacko is the most popular beer in Croatiaand Bosnia-Herzegovina. It is known as the national beer. It is the signature product of brewer Karlovacka Pivovara, located in the city of Karlovac. The factory is located in the city of Karlovacko, which is where it gets its name. This city is located in the middle of the country. Unfortunately, I do not intend to visit this brewery or city on my visit to Croatia. Croatia has a bunch of citrus beers that I think I will try to stay away from. The Karlovacko beer line is no different. It has an alcohol content of about 5.4 percent by volume. Its makers describe it as "golden-yellow" in colour and "refreshingly" bitter in taste. Originally bottled in brown bottles, Karlovacko is now sold in green bottles (also in cans and plastic packaging).
