Antony d'Ypres was a photographic studio on the Rue du Beurre (Boterstraat) run by the photographer family Antony. Madame Léontine Antony-Permbeke (1858-1923) built up the business in Ypres and her two sons Maurice Antony (1883-1963) and Robert Antony (1884-1966) took over the business after her death. The photographs by Antony d'Ypres are important for their record of the town as it was before and after the wartime damage.
