The Caledonian Games at Hastings Park, Vancouver on 6 August, 1938. The photo shows the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada Guard dressed in full scarlets with feather bonnets. The Guard is marching past three men on a low dais. The man in trews is Lt Col Leslie, Commanding Officer of the Seaforth Highlanders of Canada. The other men are the Games' officials and are in civilian highland dress. There are men in civilian suits, seated children and two unknown Seaforth officers in trews behind them. In the background are some Pacific National Exhibition buildings, the grandstand full of people and the "Shoot the Chute" - roller coaster.
