View of H.R.H. Princess Elizabeth (in a fur coat) and H.R.H. Philip Duke of Edinburgh leaving Vancouver City Hall for their awaiting convertible car on 20 October, 1951. It is driven by a sailor. A Seaforth Honour Guard at slope arms is formed up on the street [Ontario Street] in front of the building. They are wearing kilts, balmorals and battledress tunics. They are carrying Lee-Enfield rifles. There is another unit in the Guard wearing berets and battledress. There are Mounties in the foreground.
