72nd Regiment, Seaforth Highanders of Canada in a loose platoon formation, 1910 - 1914. They are wearing pith helmets, kilts, aprons, Oliver Pattern field webbing and carrying Ross rifles. With the Seaforhs are soldiers in forage caps, service dress tunics, long puttees and Oliver pattern leather webbing with rifles. There is a warehouse type building in the background.
