From the Regimental Association Newsletter May 1976 for more details (attached).
"The smartly turned-out Seaforth on the front page? Who but Colour Sergeant Doug Johnstone, Regimental No. 43? At the time the photograph was taken. Which was Sunday, Nov. 13, 1910? Elsewhere in this issue a recent press account reveals what he has been up to since then. An outstanding Seaforth, and the vary epitome of what a soldier should be. Congratulations Doug on your ninetieth."
