72nd Seaforth Cadets at camp at Hopkins Landing, 3 August 1938. In front of the group is a life preserver with SEAFORTH CADETS written on it. A line inspection at the Seaforth Highlanders cadet camp on the former Y.M.C.A. grounds at Hopkins Landing.
Hopkins Landing is located north east of Gibsons, BC at the end of Hopkins Road off of Marine Drive. This area is one of the original clusters of summer cottages that were served by steamships. There is a pebbly/sandy beach with roped-off swimming area and floating dock.
