Letter from Canadian soldier, 338930 Pte Harry Yorston, 17th Battery, Canadian Field Artillery to Mrs. A.B. De Long thanking her for a care parcel. The letter is dated 28 December, 1918 from Germany. He served in the 72nd Regiment and the Canadian Army Medical Corps before the War. He was also in the 68th Battalion CEF and the D.A.B. Mrs. De Long organized and forwarded parcels to CEF troops who were serving overseas. The letters in this collection date from late 1918 and early 1919. They are thank you letters to her. It appears that all of the recipients lived or still had family in the North Burnaby area.
