An Account / Memoir of the Homecoming to Vancouver of the Seaforths on 6 October 1945. This recollection was for the 50th Anniversary of the return in 1995. This account is by Todd Lochhead: September 26, 1995 Todd Lochhead 4391 St. Catherines St., Vancouver, B.C. I came home before the Battalion , but met them (along with others who had arrived earlier) at the CPR Station. We marched with the Pipes and Drums through the crowds lining the streets back to the Seaforth Armoury. It was a moving sight to see families and friends rushing out to greet their loved ones. Personally it was so good to be home after 5 1/2 years, but I couldn’t help thinking of the ones who would never return. J. Todd Lochhead
