An Account / Memoir of the Homecoming to Vancouver of the Seaforths on 6 October 1945. This recollection was for the 50th Anniversary of the return in 1995. This account is by Andy Foulds: September 26, 1995 Andy Foulds 2163 McMullen Ave., Vancouver What with the war ending 8th May - our stay in Holland, our waiting period in England our boat trip across our fair Dominion the excitement culminated as the train slowly drew into the CPR Station. Once lined up and out of the Station we certainly felt the air of excitement and welcome. I met my Mom and Dad at the Armoury and Elated began plans for my “Real Life”. I’m a survivor.
