Will of William Edwards Clarke (not Clark), 72nd Bn which was drafted and sworn in Kingston-Upon-Thames, England on 4 August 1917. All of his possessions and money went to his wife Catherine (Katherine/Kathleen) MacKenzie Clarke (nee Cross).
129079 William Edwards Clarke (not Clark as in the history) arrived in France on 13 August 1916 with the original contingent. He was wounded on 13 November 1916 and he returned on 30 November 1916. He got sick on 23 April 1917 and he returned to the battalion on 8 February 1918. He was killed in action on 11 August 1918.
