Written inside the kilt is Foster's name and serial number, as well as "service with the Seaforths 1 Nov 1940 to 19 Jan 1943 Pte Foster, R.E." Made by Hobson and Sons, London. This kilt was subsequently worn by Sergeant Rahool Vadgama, who served from July 11th, 1983 to March 6th, 2017. On his retirement, Sergeant Vadgama gave his kilt to the museum.
