Unidentified Private - First World War. The Seaforth soldier is weathing a five-button Highland cut tunic, kilt, and his wearing a glengarry. His tunic has C/72 collar dogs, his sleeves show three years in service chevrons, and a good conduct stripe. The Seaforth Private is standing behind an unidentified British or Commonwealth Lieutenant (two pips on epaulette).
"Black & White Studios" on the back of the postcard, making the most likely date 1917-1918.
