Sword - 1897 Pattern
1897 Pattern Canadian Infantry Officers' Sword with the cipher of Queen Elizabeth II on the hilt. The sword belonged to Captain Lawrrence Arthur Patterson who served with the Signals during the Second World War. Approximately 1965 he was attached to the Seaforths when the family moved to Vancouver. Patterson retired approximately 1975.
