Transcription: Blythswood Hotel 320 Argyle Street Glasgow, April 29th 1917 Dear Bert Having the time of my young innocent life. 3 months in Blighty and I didn't have to get shot in the neck to get here. My address will be: 129 SHB L/C TP Elder // OTC Canadian Mortar School, Bexhill, Sussex, England. There will be no necessity to send one any grub though a little sugar would be alright. Lloyd and MacGregor are with me. Shoffie gets my parcels as they cannot send them over. I have been at Vimi since Dec 24 6 in 6 out missed one shift but will write later.
